Unity Is Our Strength | From Bishop Gobanga’s Desk

The Body of Christ, and the local church in particular, is stronger when united and weaker when divided.

The workings of the grace of God in different men are towards the same goal: that the saints are edified and the world is reached.

Each one honouring another, strengthening one another, pulling and dragging one another, as they are subject to God’s authority and under His appointed leadership.

No one seeking his own glory, his own honour, and his own popularity. Each one is seeking the progress of the church. Each one satisfied that the church is fulfilling God’s plan no matter the role they are given to play.

I pray that you will be of one mind and be in one accord. I pray that each of you will seek to make the other feel good and inspire others to be their best in the Lord.

I pray that we learn to submit to one another in the fear of the Lord. This is the highest level of submission that we are mandated to do for the grace of God to be expressed in and through our lives.

I pray that you will serve God without murmuring or complaining about nothing. Serving God is tied to serving one another regardless of age, status, etc.

Let go off the weights of your life and focus on what is ahead of you. Focus on what matters most in life.
