The divine provisions are not intended to fulfil your desires. As believers and sons of God, we are subject to the divine fatherhood system, which grants us access to His riches.
However, there is a fundamental distinction between sons and babes within the divine family. Matthew 6:33 (King James Version) states, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Access to the fullness of God’s provisions arises from the initial pursuit of the advancement of His Kingdom. God does not bestow wealth gratuitously; He entrusts it to faithful stewards, and His endowments serve the same purpose as I have just mentioned: the advancement of the Kingdom!
If you approach God with the sole intention of fulfilling your needs, you are in a lower state. God is the Father of all flesh, and in that capacity, He provides rain for both believers and unbelievers. Nevertheless, the position of sonship is elevated above that.
Being a son of God entails the understanding that you have relinquished autonomy over your life. Christ exists through you, and consequently, He possesses complete control over every aspect of your existence. Exodus 16:16 (King James Version) states, “This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, GATHER OF IT EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS EATING, an omer for every man.”
To become a worthy steward of God’s blessings, comprehend that God provides according to your needs, not out of a desire for self-aggrandisement. Initially, sons prioritise the Kingdom, and in the process of being fully devoted to its advancement, God fulfils their needs. Subsequently, God’s provisions, regardless of their abundance, serve to amplify the voice of His sons, still with the primary objective of advancing the Kingdom.
By adopting this consciousness into your daily life, you will consistently find sustenance and the means to progress the course of the Kingdom.
