Obedience Is The Highest Form Of Worship | From Bishop Gobanga’s Desk

An insubordinate person will justify his or her wrongdoing despite disobeying the voice of God. They aren’t able to see beyond the person in authority and recognize the voice of God. Thus, they’ll never acknowledge the voice of divine authority expressed in the person designated to exercise authority.

An insubordinate people never apologizes or repents because they don’t see why they should. They justify their actions by twisting the truth to make it align with their wrongdoing.

God is more interested in our obedience to God. It is the highest level of service. Sacrifice is not the highest form of worship. The most reasonable service to God is obedience to God.

How you present yourself to God matters more than what you do for God in His Name. It matters more to God how you conduct your life in Him.

Obedience is an attitude of the heart that pleases God more than anything else you do for Him.

Obedience to God will automatically lead you to obey delegated authority regardless of who is the person in authority. Despising a set person in authority is an indication of how defiant you are to God who is invisible.

People who question authority do so because they fear being called to account for their behaviour or actions. They fear that their hidden sins will be exposed by the light of the word of God through a divine mouthpiece.

They question delegated authority because authority is able to dismantle their networks of manipulation and control. They always thrive in an environment of confusion, which enables them to pounce on gullible people in order to use them to fulfill their nefarious purposes.

Delegated authority brings order to allow the will of God to come to pass. Rebellious people don’t like to submit to authority.
