Exercise Divine Power | From Bishop Gobanga’s Desk

God has vested His power in the truth. Divine truth is the instrument that contains all power of God.

Humility is the only posture that allows man to be the host of divine power. Obedience is the executive function of humility that facilitates the ability to exercise power over all things.

Any other source of power is corrupted and cannot function in accordance with divine will. Such power is capable of destructing anyone who wields it to serve a purpose that isn’t consistent with the will of God. This power is not able to work in line with the purpose of God because its source is not authentic and it doesn’t have the right to exist in the first place.

Corrupted power serves to make an illusion of legitimacy for the world to perceive as an alternative to the authentic power. It is for the display of a certain level of authority that is illegitimate. Such power can only last for as long as the Lord will allow it to follow its natural course of action in order for it to culminate in its own destruction.

Authentic power is locked in the citadel of truth. Authentic power is unlimited in its infinite possibilities that can never be lost no matter what. Authentic power can only exist in the realm of truth.
