Transition In God | From Bishop Gobanga’s Desk

Transitions are inevitable in life. Nonetheless, beware that you don’t transition outside of God. You must transition from one level to another in God, not outside of God.

Don’t transition in dishonour or rebellion and say that it’s God at work. Transition is always in the Lord no matter what the circumstances are.

Never burn bridges during your transitions because where you are headed will require you to rely on those social connections and networks that you have established in your current life.

Transitions that are done within the context of being in the Lord will always bear fruit in the future. Transitions are geared towards a long term goal rather than a present moment of reckless abandon.

Fruit is not what you experience in the present. What you experience today is temporary moment of leisure that cannot compare with what is coming from the future.

Let your transitions become more meaningful in the Lord. Let your transitions bear witness to all and sundry in your life.

Those you loathe today may be the door to open your tomorrow. Those you ignore today are the ones that God has designed to use to make your future better.

That’s why even when you’re offended by people who wrong you today, take note that your response to the offence is what God uses to make you prepare for your tomorrow. God is counting on the right response to the offence in order to process your heart to be ready for the next level.

Offenders are divine instruments of breakthrough. Offenses are divine reflections of things that are yet to be dealt with in your heart. You’ll often find that the issues that aren’t dealt with have no relation with what has offended you at present.
