The only way you know that God is with you is this: you are going through tough times right now. The fact that all you anticipated for yourself has not come to pass is indicative that God is with you.
Notwithstanding the fact that you have obeyed the prophetic instructions of the Lord and you are living a righteous life, having things that aren’t working for you is one of the major indications that God is with you.
Why is God with you despite your challenges? Why is it that you feel like you aren’t getting a breakthrough?
It’s because God is not your errand boy or magic wand that you can use at will. God is not an ATM machine that you go to withdraw money to use and walk away. God is not obligated to work for you just because you are in dire need. He remains God regardless of whether you have received anything from Him or not.
God is working in you and on you. He is dealing with your heart more than anything else you can imagine. He is dealing directly with your life right now.
The state of your heart is the main issue. Your heart is the hindrance to your breakthrough that is coming your way. So God is in your life and is journeying with you in order to make you address the concerns that He has about the state of your heart because it is resisting the breakthrough that you desire. The issues of your heart must be addressed and resolved before the breakthrough can manifest in your life.
Allow the Spirit of God to guide you into all truth of the word of God. Submit to God and He will cause the streams of breakthrough to flow into your life. If God allows certain breakthroughs to occur in your life and your state of heart is not right, the streams of breakthroughs will be poisoned by your heart posture to the point that what is meant to be a blessing becomes a curse to you.
