Purpose & Cultural Identity | From Bishop Gobanga’s Desk

A man’s purpose surpasses his cultural identity. His purpose defines his life pursuits and his ability to live in the pristine elements that constitute his identity.

Identity is what shapes a person’s ideological, philosophical, and social beliefs in light of his prophetic purpose. Culture is not static but dynamic in so far as purpose is concerned. Culture derives its value from the pristine identity; yet, the pristine identity redefines culture as well as all contexts of life in the successive seasons of life.
